Chana oversees the day-to-day program at Chabad. She has staffed over a dozen Birthright Israel trips and is the instructor for the Sinai Scholars course. Chana is often the first point of contact when a young person encounters one of life’s rougher patches.

hershe.pngRabbi Hershey Novack

Rabbi Hershey co-directs the Chabad center, where he also serves as senior campus rabbi. He was recently named by The Forward as “one of America’s Most Inspiring Rabbis.” He serves on the board of the Jewish Family & Children’s Services and as trustee of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.

Malka studied at Arizona State University, where she served as president of the Chabad student board. She graduated with a BA in Psychology and earned an MSW. Malka oversees the JewCrew program, and cannot wait to meet all of the incoming First Year students.

glenna.pngGlenna Gelfand

Glenna, originally from NY, moved to St Louis after having lived and taught in Israel for eleven years. She works behind the scenes to ensure our students’ experience is top-notch. Glenna holds a BA from Queens College and also teaches at St. Louis Community College.

Kelly Harris

Kelly, a Philadelphia native, attended Temple University. She directs the JGrads program, which builds community among Jewish grad students and young adults through social programming and networking. Kelly will be moving to Phoenix during the fall 2017 semester.

Esty Munk

Esty, originally from St. Louis, received her degree from Stern College in NYC before returning home. Esty directs our program for students at UMSL, SLU, Webster and throughout the region. She also oversees special projects at Chabad WashU.

Rachel is pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy at WashU’s School of Medicine. She heads the COAST program, which pairs volunteer students and local children with special needs, for Jewish education. Rachel graduated from WashU’s College of Arts and Sciences.
