Chana R. Novack

Chana oversees the day-to-day program at Chabad. She has staffed over a dozen Birthright Israel trips and is the instructor for the Sinai Scholars course. Chana is often the first point of contact when a young person encounters one of life’s rougher patches.  

Rabbi Hershey Novack

Rabbi Hershey co-directs the Chabad center, where he also serves as senior campus rabbi. He was recently named by The Forward as “one of America’s Most Inspiring Rabbis.” He serves on the board of the Jewish Family Services and as trustee of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.

Rabbi Yossi and Goldie Abenson

This dynamic couple has recently opened a new Chabad House in the Central West End and been appointed to oversee the JGrads program for graduate students and their peers in St. Louis.

Reshit Ehrlich

Reshit hails from Ma'alot, Israel, and has moved to St. Louis to serve as the Jewish Agency Israel Fellow at Chabad. She has recently completed her B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies, Sociology and Anthropology at Ben Gurion University after working with Ethiopian immigrants for two years as part of her National Service.

Glenna Gelfand

Originally from NY, Glenna moved to St Louis after having lived and taught in Israel for eleven years. She manages our office and coordinates programs for WashU parents.

Karen Lob

Karen Lob heads COAST, our volunteer program for children with special needs. She is from Connecticut and is currently working at the Washington University School of Medicine in the Psychiatry Department. She plans to start medical school this summer. 

Boruch Smason

Boruch leads The Network, our initiative for students at SLU, STLCC, UMSL and Webster U. He is a veteran of the IDF, and is happy to be joining our team upon his return to St. Louis.
