Chabad on Campus offers provisions to students

Chabad on Campus of the St. Louis Region is providing free Passover provisions to all Jewish college students in Missouri as part of an initiative to strengthen Jewish identity and observance of the Passover holiday. The "Passover to Go" offering includes matzo crackers and grape juice, among other food items, and is delivered to students at colleges and universities in Missouri and Southern Illinois without an organized Jewish community.

"It is a Passover holiday tradition that all those who are hungry should come and eat," said Rabbi Hershey Novack, director of Chabad on Campus. "In light of this tradition, we will work to ensure that every single Jewish student has the provisions they need to celebrate the Passover holiday.”

In past years, the program has helped students celebrate Passover at Southeast Missouri State University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Truman State University, and University of Missouri in Rolla.

The “Passover to Go" program is underwritten by the Regional Campuses Fund of Chabad on Campus.
